As an Independent, I vote for (or against) a person regardless of his/her party affiliation. Here is my record over the past three Presidential elections (Yes, the “lesser of 2 evils”):
- 2016: I voted for Trump for change.
- 2020: I voted for Biden for normalcy, as Trump was just too crazy.
- 2024: I voted for Trump for change.
1. Trump 1.0
Below is a strong piece of evidence that I supported Trump 1.0 at the start.
Unfortunately, he turned out to be too crazy for me, especially his constant lies about China, such as the tariffs (China has never paid for them. Instead, I, as an importer, do! What do I do then? I simply pass it along to my customers! Oh, Trump continues to lie about it to date). So, I voted against him in 2020.
2. President Biden
Below is a strong piece of evidence that I supported him at the start.

3. Ron DeSantis
In April 2022, I created two groups on Facebook:
- DeSantis 2024
- Independents for DeSantis 2024.
I hoped DeSantis would become a better version of Trump (Correctly Assessing President Trump). But it did not happen: DeSantis’s bid for the Presidency never got much traction. So, in June 2023, I settled on Trump by replacing DeSantis with Trump for the two Facebook groups.

5. President-elect Trump
Read the cover photo below and ask yourself this question: What kind of character must one have to overcome so much adversity with a resounding victory on 11/5/2024 to be elected the 47th American President?
6. Trump 2.0
Donald Trump will be the most powerful President in [recent] history, with everything going for him, from Congress to SCOTUS. However, even that may not be good enough for him. For example, he may demand the end of the filibuster in the US Senate and get it, thus dictating everything!
Now, you may be thinking about the “balance of power.” It is just yet another big & fat American lie – There has never been any real balance of power in America!
In other words, America was founded by/of/for the rich, with money behind everything, from politics to justice. Despite all the considerable changes over the past 200 years, America remains essentially unchanged: America remains by/of/for the rich! For example, the rich control both major parties, with little essential difference between Bush II and Obama/Biden/Harris. They are all war-hawks!
However, Trump 1.0 was very different from the rest. For example, President Trump initiated no new war throughout his Presidency (Correctly Assessing President Trump). Trump 2.0 will be even more different, which may be exactly what America needs right now: a wise dictator (Donald Trump vs. Deng Xiaoping)!
Bottom line: Will Trump 2.0 be good for America?
Buckle up and fingers-crossed!

We wish Trump 2.0 well (President Trump in the real world of Three New Kingdoms). Note: I have just changed the Facebook group from “Independents for Trump 2024” (for campaign) to “Independents for Trump 2.0” (for governing)!
