As an Independent, I vote for (or against) a person regardless of his/her party affiliation. Here is my record over the past three Presidential elections (Yes, the “lesser of 2 evils”):
- 2016: I voted for Trump for change.

The Trump phenomenon explained (2)
I published on this subject for the first time one year ago (The Trump phenomenon explained). This is version 2, with some minor changes from version 1.
The Trump phenomenon can be highlighted by three points as follows:
- 2016: He was elected the American President.
- 2020: He lost his re-election bid to Joe Biden.
- 2024: He has a good chance to win in the 2024 election, thanks to the incompetence of the Biden/Harris administration.
Three major political parties in America
There are three major political parties in America today:
- The Democratic Party, led by President Joe Biden.
- The Republican Party (aka “the GOP”), led by some neo-cons such as Nikki Haley and Mitch McConnell.
- The Trump Party, which is a major spin-off of the GOP.
President Trump, again?
Donald Trump will inevitably become the GOP nominee and most likely will win the 2024 election! So, let us correctly assess his first-term and then look ahead.
Again, it is Trump!
Just like in 2016, Donald Trump may well surprise many to win the 2024 election. Two projections:
- Trump will be the GOP nominee, thanks to MAGA.
- Trump will defeat President Biden in November, thanks to the Independents, most of whom would choose a pathological liar over a war hawk as the lesser of two evils.
America: It is the political system, stupid!
America is deeply in trouble (A quarter of Americans open to taking up arms against government, poll says), with no easy way out.
Why is that?
Simply put, it is the political system, stupid!
Election 2024: Anybody but Joe Biden!
Although the 2024 general election is still more than one year away, I have already made up my mind: anybody but Joe Biden!
Here is the reason: The war in Ukraine poses an existential threat to mankind, as it may result in World War III, thus destroying us all as a species. President Biden could have prevented that war from breaking out but chose not to. Moreover, he can stop the war any time now but has yet to do so.
