No, it will not happen soon, either, just like the case in the Mideast (The Mideast without America?) and Europe (Europe without America?)!
America has been hugely influential in Asia since the end of WWII at least. But this influence has been significantly reduced over the past few decades, thanks to the dramatic comeback of China. As China continues to claim the 21st century, American influence in Asia, as well as elsewhere in the world, will gravely diminish.
By “Asia,” I will limit it to East Asia mostly in this post.
1. What has happened in Asia since 1945?
Four major events:
- The PRC (People’s Republic of China) was born in 1949.
- America waged wars over there, with the Vietnam War being the most brutal.
- China has finally come back from the century of humiliation.
- America hates China because it is too successful, too quickly (Why does America hate China?).

Bottom line: Built on a pile of lies, America is finally collapsing. In contrast, China will continue its greatness as the longest continual civilization in human history!

The simple fact is that China is a part of Asia, but America is not. So, unless they destroy themselves (as well as us all) via WWIII, bet on China to be in, but America to be out of, Asia, over time!
In other words, China will prevail over America in Asia, over time!
