Episode 6 of the reality TV show “Dancing Queens” was aired today (June 13). It is briefly reviewed here, followed by some new developments along the same line since my last review (“Dancing Queens”: A Critical Review (5)) was published on June 6.
1. A brief review of Episode 6
Three highlights:
- The results from the Atlanta Open (https://www.atlantaopen.com): out of seven competitors: Leonie (1st), Sabrina (2nd), Colette (3rd), Donie (4th), and Pooja (5th).
- Sabrina was disappointed, of course, especially after missing her daughter’s gymnastics competition.
- Next, they are all heading to Millennium (https://m2dance.com/) to conclude the reality show.
2. “Dancing Queens & Kings”
My new book “Dancing Queens & Kings” is calling for participation.
The only requirement for participation is that you have competed in the USDC or OSB. A one-page highlight to tell your compelling story is due by 6/15 (frankxli@yahoo.com).
Three examples …
3. Example 1: Gretchen Beckwith
4. Example 2: Toni Tallerino
5. Example 3: Mike Butler
6. Closing
I will continue to watch the remaining episode of “Dancing Queens” and review it like I have been doing for the past six weeks.
My new book is a reaction to the reality show, not a response to it.
