JFK is, IMHO, the worst American President since WWII, at least!
Of all the post-WWII American Presidents, JFK is perhaps the most misunderstood. For example, many Americans still consider him a great President, despite mounting evidence suggesting otherwise.
Why is that?
Three main reasons:
- His assassination: His sudden and tragic death has left an enduring mark on the minds of many Americans, who have been romanticizing JFK ever since.
- Politicians: In an advanced democracy like ours, telling the truth can often be politically suicidal for anyone seeking public office. What about those already in office? They are constantly in the “campaign mode” in the never-ending attempt to fulfill their top priority: getting re-elected ad nauseam!
- A complicit media: read Brainwashing and America.
Now, let me assess President Kennedy in terms of the good, the bad, and the ugly.
1. President Kennedy: the good
Three significant examples:
- He was an inspirational speaker, leaving behind many good speeches with memorable lines (e.g., “Ask not what your country can do for you” and “Landing a Man on the Moon”).
- He ably solved the Cuban Missile Crisis.
- He worked diligently to resist the expansion of the MIC, for which he might have paid the ultimate price.
2. President Kennedy: the bad
Three significant examples:
- He appointed his younger brother, Robert Kennedy, as the Attorney General, which remains the epitome of the worst aspect of nepotism in American politics.
- He escalated the war in Vietnam without any benefit for America while planning to end the war once he was re-elected to the second term.
- He laid the foundation for many ultimately destructive social programs, which his successor, President Lyndon Johnson, greatly expanded later.
Why so bad, especially points 2 and 3 above?
It is called “getting re-elected ad nauseam,” even if it means destroying America in the long run!
3. President Kennedy: the ugly
By signing Executive Order 10988 on January 17, 1962, President Kennedy allowed public-sector workers to unionize against their employers: the people of the United States of America. This communistic act did help millions of public-sector workers join the ranks of the middle class at the expense of America’s future. It ensured a spectacular failure of America down the road, city by city, state by state, as we have been experiencing over the past two decades, with the far worse yet to come.
Two informative readings:
- $300M property tax hike in Chicago mayor’s 2025 budget proposal, but no layoffs.

In short, President Kennedy perpetrated much more damage to America than all other enemies, domestic and foreign, combined!
4. It is the political system, stupid!
Why did President Kennedy behave so badly when signing Executive Order 10988?
Getting re-elected ad nauseam!
It is the worst form of self-serving at the expense of the country, and it is the political system, stupid!
Here is how it works: the public-section unions first elect their representatives to the government. Then they negotiate among themselves for generous pay and pensions, even if it means bankrupting the country over time!
JFK was not re-elected in 1964, as he was assassinated on November 22, 1963. But the damage to America was already done, with most Americans having no clue about it to this day.
5. Discussion
Time is the best judge of greatness or treacherous acts.
Today, Executive Order 10988 remains in place, although its destructive power should be crystal clear. Unfortunately, most Americans are blithely unaware of it or simply in denial.
It is time to undo Executive Order 10988!
6. Closing
It is time for America to clearly recognize President Kennedy as the worst American President since WWII, at least.
