Global Warming Bulletin: April 10, 2023 – Greenhouse Gases are Increasing

There has been a recent information release from a number of U.S. Agencies that track Global Warming. The rise in greenhouse gases is disturbing because the impacts are delayed but often very long-lasting.

The below are excerpts from an email I received on April 10, 2023 plus some of the graphs that one finds if they follow the links in the Press Release.  The Press Release is actually a summary of a number of reports released this week. When estimating the change in Greenhouse Gases in the Atmosphere, it takes a few months to process the data. To avoid problems with formatting when using information that has a lot of HTML formatting, I create an image of it and thus the links are not active. I have provided many of them at the end of the article so one can access a lot of information from this Press Release by following the links.

Below is some of what you will find there but with text explanations.  There are graphs not only on Carbon Dioxide but three other important Greenhouse gases: Methane, Nitrous Oxide, and Sulfur Hexafluoride (22,800 times more powerful as a greenhouse gas than carbon dioxide).

Below are some of the links found in the Press Release for those who want to dig deeper. I think the link to the Pliocene epoch may be very interesting.
